Seller policies
1. Fair Practices: Sellers must not engage in unfair trade practices when selling goods or services.
2. Honesty in Reviews: Sellers cannot pretend to be consumers to post fake reviews or misrepresent the quality or features of their products.
3. Returns and Refunds: Sellers must accept returns and provide refunds for defective or misrepresented goods or services, including late deliveries, unless the delay was due to unavoidable circumstances (force majeure).
4. Contracts and Contact:
Sellers need a written contract with the e-commerce platform to sell their products.
They must appoint a grievance officer to handle consumer complaints, who should acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month.
5. Accurate Advertising: Sellers must ensure that their advertisements match the actual characteristics and usage conditions of the products or services.
6. Required Information: Sellers must provide the e-commerce platform with:
Their legal name and address.
Website details and customer care contact information.
GSTIN and PAN details, if applicable.
7. Display Information: Sellers must provide accurate information to be displayed on the platform, including:
a. The total price and a breakdown of any charges.
b. Mandatory notices and expiry dates for products.
c. Details about the goods, including country of origin.
d. Contact details for the grievance officer.
e. Information about the importer and guarantees for imported products.
f. Clear terms for returns and refunds, including shipping costs.
g. Delivery and shipment details.
h. Any applicable guarantees or warranties for the goods or services
i. Seller must require to provide accurate descriptions and images of the goods or services they offer on the platform.
8. You shall not, directly or indirectly, offer, attempt to offer, trade or attempt to trade in any item, the dealing of which is prohibited or restricted in any manner under the provisions of any applicable law, rule, regulation or guideline for the time being in force.
